What Redact PDF will do
Mark text or areas to redact and PDFSleek removes them from the file itself, then draws a black box in their place. Unlike whiteout, nothing is left underneath.
Your files never leave your device
PDFSleek runs the editor inside your browser. Your PDF is opened, edited and saved on your computer — it isn't uploaded to us, so there's nothing for us to read, keep or lose.

Got questions?
Answers to the questions people ask most.
When will Redact PDF be available?
We're building it now. Leave your email above and we'll tell you the day it launches.
Will Redact PDF be free?
Yes. It will be free to start, like every PDFSleek tool, with no sign-up and no watermark.
How is this different from Whiteout?
Whiteout covers content; redaction deletes it from the file, so it can't be copied or recovered.
